Got a request for sugar free peach jam,so made that.Tried a new recipe for charro beans.
Mulched the asparagus bed.

Mrs. Ranch made the first batch of Christmas cookies (wedding cakes).
Received the new coffee/end tables & TV stand for the guesthouse. Now she wants a new TV so the 'old' one can go over there, she's on a roll... I have a Samsung 50NU7100 Flat 50" 4K UHD 7 Series Smart TV & Samsung UBD-M9500/ZA 4K UHD Blu-Ray Player on the way. She is now cut off for the rest of the month.
Made a batch of ranch rice to go with our supper.

Headed out to Bellville Meat Market .
I love meat markets [not HEB,KROGER etc]. Ended up with bone in pork chops,hamburger,sausage, chicken, t-bones,stuffed pork chops,and bacon.

The folks from the LUCIES project came & picked up the furniture donation.
Received the new TV & Blu-ray player, so I setup the 'old' units in the guesthouse & the new stuff in the main house. Now we have streaming video capabilities in both houses.

Made this Garlicky Chicken Dinner - sheet pan baked. It was really good and will be added to our top 20 dinner recipe rotation. It did take longer than stated in the recipe to cook though.
Did the weekly shopping & then stopped to have a tire patched to repair a slow leak.
Fed the cattle.
Seasoned up chicken fajitas that will be grilled for supper. I'll also make ranch rice for a side dish.

Kids are home from college. We're fixin' to bake some pies and cookies for our neighbors. Writing down Ranch's recipes as we speak.

Two minor domestic tragedies in the last 24 hours.
1) Kids were playing in the basement while we were making dinner and someone turned off the light switch that controls power to the furnace. We woke up to the house being 57 F. Not bad as it was high 20s overnight and the furnace was off for over 12 hours.
2) The meatloaf was pulled out of the oven and placed on the counter then something happened and <crash> the meatloaf and baking sheet were on the floor with the sheet pan on top.
