Now this is a truly amazing wisteria!!!

WOW!!!

This is the world's largest wisteria in in Ashikaga Flower Park, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. It is dated to c. 1870 and spreads to cover approximately 1,990 square meters (a half acre) as of May 2008.

When I saw this, I knew I had to share.

Pretty amazing. I like looking at it in other folks yards....but would like to get rid of it in mine. It just spreads too much.

Yep, almost as bad as trumpet vine, although both are beautiful when in bloom!!!
