Florida Tomatoes Help

Hey everyone, I have recently moved from PA to FL and am currently growing a tomato plant in a 8" plantar if i remember correctly.. I had planted the seeds of a gone off tomato from the market after rinsing them. It has been several months now and I had produced 2 small tomatoes. However, i now am faced with my leaves curling and turning brown, as well as some vines cracking. I have never had this problem back in PA, I was wondering if this is heat related thus I am probably going to have to get use to fungus as well, now that i am down here in FL. I water them once and sometimes twice every 2 weeks, deeply. I have attached some pictures, if anyone could please comment, that would be great!
