Cucumbers, Should I Hand Pollinate?

I have my first cucumber that is a "fingerling" that I hope to make Gerkin pickles out of (see photo). The cucumber vines are on a trellis. I also have LOTS of flowers, but I'm wondering if I should have more cucumbers at this point? Also, in a separate 4' x 4' box, I have a tiny trio of cucumbers and lots of flowers on that trellis, also. I am seeing honey bees, wasps and bumblebees in the garden doing their job. Should I hand pollinate to get the cucumbers really producing or just wait on the pollinators to do their job?

Also, does it matter what size the cucumbers are when you pick them flavor wise since these are supposed to be small anyway?

I've posted pictures below.FisrtCucumber.jpgCucumberTrio.jpgCucumberVines.jpg

Okay. I didn't make any cucumbers last year, so I wasn't sure if I was on schedule with this or not. It's nice to sit out in the garden watching the bumblebees go from one flower to the next.
