So I have chipmunks tearing things up around here. These guys are digging little holes all over my veg beds which means my seedlings are going away. Between yesterday afternoon and after church I lost a flat of sunflower seedlings.
Plan A has failed. This terrier has proven worthless in critter-control.
Plan B - snap style rat traps. I think I threw out mine from the last time I had chipmunks like this.
I hate to use poisons. I have toddlers playing in the garden and hands end up in their mouths constantly. Aside from the kid problem I've read about most poisons leading to slow deaths and or the carcass rotting where you smell it but can't get to it.
I don't have a pellet gun and 22 shorts are not a fully legal option in this city.
