Canning chili

I have a lot of tomatoes ripening in the garden. A few different varieties of medium and large and an over abundance of cherry tomatoes yellow and red. I would like to know if anyone has ever tried to use cherry tomatoes for canning chili and if so how you went about doing it?? Any info will be helpfull Thanks!

We can the tomatoes by themselves & then when we make chili, we add them after browning the meat & onions.
