beer grain - mulch or compost?

So I brewed a batch yesterday - maris otter and pale crystal with Fuggles, Kent Goldings, and American hops - and now have a smallish bucket of spent grains. How well do you think it would work as mulch or will that attract several types of rodents to my garden? Should I just compost it?

Bury it in your garden.

Beer grains are considered a green (see compost carbon to nitrogen ratio) and will be beneficial to both a compost or just burying it in the garden like Sam mentions.
