Ah, it's a beautiful day...

    The snow is falling, the cars are sliding, the plows are scraping.

    This morning's commute wasn't too bad. This afternoon's is being called "downright dangerous". We have about 2-3" on the ground and are expecting anywhere from another 3-8", depending on where you are. I am in the 10" + total area. Then snow showers tomorrow, then another 2-3" on Sunday. Yay.

    Nonetheless, we're midway through February, the days are getting longer, and we're heading for some sun and upper 30's next week.

    I actually left work when the sun was still above the horizon yesterday. I think that was a first since mid December. There's no windows around where I work in the building so I haven't seen dawn on a week day in three months.
