Spent Saturday taking apart a swingset in prep of moving it down to our yard next season. There was 3 inches of snow on the ground when I started and wind was blowing right off the west arm of Grand Traverse Bay in northern Michigan. It went well until my father-in-law decided to hit himself in the face with a flat pry bar but it only took 4 stitches for the doc to sew him back together.

1 inch of snow fell between 6 and 12 today.

Kids had a snow day.

We got 8 to 10 inches of snow at work and 6 inches of snow at home between 6 AM and 1 PM today. Not too cold around here. Town about 12 miles south of here got 24 inches of snow.

Another miserable day here, it in the low 40s & has rained 0.40"...

Took Mrs. Ranch's Jeep in an oil change, lube & for the yearly state inspection.

Fed cattle & put out a roll of hay.

Warmed to 35 with lots of sun. Still 5 ish inches of snow on the ground. The farmer with corn fields near work was out running his little combine to harvest it.

Realized I mis-understood a nuance of the PLC IO I am using on this new machine at work so I get to spend a few hours with find/replace tomorrow. Great things are always found out at 3:50 PM Friday...

I checked with Colorado feed and they do not know when they will come in as it's to wet for the sets to be pulled.Same thing happened last year.

They have received 2 kinds, the sampler packs (red/ white/1015) & the 'Texas Legends' which are similar to the 1015s.

Picked up the license sticker for Mrs. Ranch's Jeep & 3 bundles of onion sets this morning. I ended up with 'Texas Legends' instead of my normal 'Yellow Granex'...

Cleaned Mrs. Ranch's Jeep windows & put the new sticker on. I need to take it back to the dealer tomorrow as I had a part on order, which finally arrived, so they can install it for her.

Made bread.
