Harvested some kohlrabi for our mail lady since she had to deliver Mrs. Ranch belated Christmas gift (Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro).

Finished trimming the Lirope back under all the trees.

Harvest 4 more kohlrabi & took them them down to our young neighbors.

Made bread.

Closed out the 2019 financials & prepped for 2020.

Fed cattle & put out another roll of hay.

Watered everything in the greenhouse.

Cleaned & polished a tiger oak curio cabinet (circa 1900) that holds Mrs. Ranch's childhood mementos. I love antique furniture!!!

Went tp town to top off Mrs. Ranch's fuel tank & to pick up 3 bags of 13-13-13.

Fertilized the asparagus bed, all the trees & the flowerbeds as it is a beautiful spring-like day. I also started mulching these areas.

Had a rare visitor stop by this morning... A young bald eagle. Sorry, about the quality of the pics, I was pushing the limits of the camera. Too bad Mrs. Ranch wasn't home, she would have been ecstatic!!!

Bald eagles are rare down there?

Down and out with the flu. Feel like a bum. Just laying in bed cooking at 101 F. Trying to quarantine myself from the rest of the family.

Still a warm 72 degrees, but the winds are picking up & it's starting to rain (0.74" thus far).

Replaced the shower fixture in the master bathroom with a new brushed stainless steel one. Then replaced the tub/shower fixture in Mrs. Ranch's bathroom. She will like her new shower head!!!

Ordered 2 brushed stainless slider bars & matching handheld shower heads to complete the bathrooms.

Mostly over the flu now. Lingering cough but that is normal for me.

Ice storm going through here now. Strong wind carrying mist that freezes on contact. Most everything is encapsulated. Have not lost power yet but would not be surprised if / when we do.

Prepped Dieter's chicken thigh snacks with a marinade of yogurt & sage. I'll cook them later in the day.

Fed the cattle.

Start pruning the Crape Myrtles back... 3 down, 6 to go.

we were encased in a little over 1/8" of ice then got a dusting of snow over it. Church was canceled due to weather today.

Making cabbage rolls for dinner tonight.

Drizzling here again...

Installed the new handheld shower heads.

Mrs Ranch & I finally agreed to the new color schemes for the interior of both the main & guest house. We have also reached agreements on the 'Sanitas' wall coverings for both kitchens & all the bathrooms.

Still drizzling (ended up with 0.13" yesterday & 0.10" thus far today). The fog has been constant throughout the last 3 days due to the ambient temps & dew points being in sync. It's nasty out there...

Went to town to get my haircut.

Installed a replacement memory fan in my computer as the original died.

Cut up Dieter's chicken snacks & vacuum packed them.
